Jodie + Brian
Wedding season is ON!! With back to back Saturday-Sunday weddings this year, I have to give myself a pat on the back for being able to keep up with the editing and deliver images to clients right on time! I credit that ease to the fantabulous clients I've had the pleasure of working with this month (and always really..) from having so much fun shooting their wedding days, I get home at night and can't wait to go through the images. Jodie and Brian's wedding day at Elkridge Furnace Inn was no exception. Despite the drizzling start, spirits were high and the bride and groom put on finishing touches while hints of nervousness set in. Jodie's niece became my 7 year old second shooter by the end of the day - mimicking my every move and angle to take snaps with her grandmother's point and shoot. At one point during a lull in the reception, I felt a gentle tugging on my pant leg, and looked down to her holding up the back of the camera proudly, "will you look at my pictures?" Um.... YES!!! She shot better than I did!!! I immediately wanted to wrap her up and smuggle her little photo-prodigy self home with me! A tremendous thanks to Jodie and Brian for inviting me to be a part of such a wonderful day - wishing you the brightest of days ahead and the sweetest of little people to tug at your pant legs!
