And now it's time for Spring....
Hibernation was good this winter, and well-deserved! I learned a lot last year, about myself, about running a business, how to stay sane, happy, healthy - well I learned that I needed to stay that way, winter was about figuring out how to do it! Winter was a very quiet contemplation this year, sobering, and yet more than ever I was filled with a sense of gratitude - put at ease truly feeling like through all of life's cycles that everything really IS okay. The sun still rises, the sun still sets, Winter fades and Spring follows. John and I said goodbye to our girl Libby, hello to Super Dave, I said goodbye to Nikon hello to Canon, John said goodbye to academia and hello to a fabulous new profession of his own creation, and I said goodbye to physical and mental barriers, hello to healing in preparation for the best year yet. Winter was quite a journey and I wanted to take a minute to reflect on it and share some images of our last day with Libby before I launch into the merry whirlwind that is always Spring wedding season - not to be morose, simply to sit back and smile, remark on the journey, and move forward with peace in my heart and a lightness in all that I do.
